Amazing $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Basic Package

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation though the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
